After years of being dubbed a "workaholic" by
family and friends, I took a one-year sabbatical dedicated
to culture and adventure travel. This was a dream I had
since my late teens, influenced by a few friends who took
long stints of time away from school or work to explore
the world.
This adventure was more amazing than I could ever have
imagined and and I kept a journal so I could summarize my
experiences for friends. They are now posted here as travelogues,
along with a small photo selection from each country. I've
included a couple of more recent trips here as well.
If you are thinking about taking such an adventure, do
turn your thinking into action. This was an experience of
a lifetime.
